a rather tall "tomato faerie" left a bag of tomatoes at the front door this morning!

wishes do come true! (and i have some feta left! )

What a great present. The tomatoes we have here in the stores are awful.

Sounds like you have all the fixings for a great salad. Can you hear the envy in my voice? It's surely there.

pretty soon all the summer tomatoes will be gone. these are the last off of the vines. the zucchinis had a bad summer, too much rain and they rotted on the ground.

there is nothing like fresh summer produce. i even have a few leaves of basil left on 2 plants. yum
