oh, i have a few others that i could have used but the face on this little leprechaun looks amazingly like my aunt betty when she was younger. she is also very tall with long, long legs. me, nope.
I find it odd that I'm SO Irish and have absolutely no interest in participating in St. Paddy's day stuff, parades, wearing green, etc.
And yesterday txrad was listening to the NPR station and they played some traditional Irish song that so grated on my nerves I had to switch it off! :-)
hi kona! my aunt is irish. she married my mom's youngest brother. i was raise with my mom's family so i'm far more italian in my outlook and in my cooking but my dad's family came from cornwall and that place has a celtic flavor even tho it's in england. we have all kinds of " "-americans in my family and friends. i feel i was very lucky in that area. my son-in-law is sweedish/itailan american and my granddaughter is chinese so we have many different traditions going for us to enjoy.
how about some good irish cooking??? you have to like that, don't you? ; )
